agree 100% - I think it's ok if we discuss the going arounds in the conference, but we often times have 3 or 4 lil Debbie posts going a week. It DOES have something to do with them being 0-6 tho

They keep saying there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Ah dude that's a train and it's a wreck.
 
This weekend should be fun.
Minnesota and Nebraska will both be giving it all they have got.
Both young teams.
Both need the win.
Both think it's a winnable game.
Both need the win for recruiting.
A ton on the line for two stumbling teams.
 
I generally agree that its a bad look to keep obsessing over Nebraska. But as a Hawkeye living behind enemy lines for the last 18 years they get a little old and schadenfreude sets in. And they're so predictable. You raz them and they're like "hur de dur, how many national championships do YOU have?!!!!" Its like... so only Gopher fans can make fun of you because they have more NCs than you do.
 
I just know neither has won a conference game.
I'm not making fun of either. I'm saying this game could be a blood bath, knock down drag out game.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately it is behind them and a 20 year walk to get there
 
Twenty-five years ago I had in-laws move from eastern Iowa to eastern Nebraska. As they crossed the Missouri River they threw out their black-and-gold and proudly adorned themselves in red-and-white and cheered as loudly (and as arrogantly) as any life-long Husker fan.

So yeah, I give myself permission to be obsessed with Nebraska’s historical failure and epoch dismantlings by my Hawkeyes.

That might be the douchiest thing I've heard of in quite some time. Your team is where you came from, not where you moved to. Only possible exception is if your kid gets a scholarship to a rival institution.

Jusy my own opinion but I think Frosty has to recruit 5* players because he doesn't have the ability to teach. If he did have the ability his teams wouldn't be so inept. I'd want to punch him in the face if he was my coach. Keeps talking about how he doesn't have the talent and needs to get better players. Well Frosty you have a lot to learn about coaching and so far you are a failure!

Yet Nebraska was recruiting fairly decent ranked teams before he got there.
Pride before the fall. Yet through it all. All these years, they are still flapping at their blow holes.

I did catch a clip of him saying he is starting to understand that the B10 is probably tougher top to bottom a little more than he thought.
