I don't think Kirk cares if people call in. He already barely takes calls as it is. What he will get is plenty of emails attempting crack clever jokes about Iowa and the rest of the B1G. People love a train wreck.
 
About 45 minutes ago, Herd did a long riff on how bad the BoneG offenses suck. He used specific examples (fo$u, mich, mich st) and sounded like he was sincerely baffled at how & why the league has fallen so far, so fast. I did not hear him mention Iower.
It wasn't a ripfest like I'd imagine rome's tirade was.

This is pretty stupid. ScUM was a national brand who lost to a AA team. Iowa has no national brand lost to a MAC team. This will all but be forgotten next week. Nobody cares enough about Iowa for this story to have legs.
 
No surprise, Iowa is a joke to many right now.

Hey thanks for the stupid blast. The point I was trying to make is that people do listen to Rome and being the punch line on a national show like that is embarrassing. Granted, I would agree it won't have the same legs as Michigan losing to Appy State, especially in a year where the whole conference is embarrassing itself, but it is equally embarrassing, at least for the time being.
