Rebuilding in year 7

Hit a receiver on a CROSSING route (covered by Jewell). After almost 3 qtrs. they have beat the outside LB's for one pass for a 3 yd gain!!! That lack of speed out there is just killing us!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
 
QB looked to the flat 3 plays in a row, but the LB's had them buried in coverage, so the 1st play he threw it away and then we got 2 coverage sacks because of the GREAT coverage from our slow outside LB's!!! End of the 3rd qtr. ! Ya know at first Pilot, I just thought you were ignorant, but after rewatching the game I have to change my opinion.....you are a complete IDIOT! I keep hearing 'learn the game', lol....well, you need to 'watch the game' before you can learn it.
 
Wow, Iowa blitzed Taylor and Niemann was slow rotating coverage on a little bootleg and gave up a nice gain! NOW I can see why you say we lost the game because of our slow outside LB's....LOL
 
Iowa just missed a FG that would have made it 14-9 with 51/2 minutes left. Still in this game....despite our slow outside LB's that can't cover in the flat, LOLOLOLOLO....(still one completion for 3 yds. lol)
 
WTF? Jewell had Clements for a 3 yd. loss but missed the tackle and Clements went for 34. DAMN THOSE SLOW OUTSIDE LBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p. s.- he had been averaging 3 yds. a carry until that run.......oh and Taylor effed up again in the open field....

Back on topic. I think everyone understood that this was a rebuild year for Iowa. We took some lumps early, and I'm sure there are more lumps to come. Yet we are extremely young, and the players are getting valuable minutes and hopefully continue to grow and improve on a daily basis.

I will take this group of players over what we have had recently. The ceiling is higher with this group.

Moss won't be in a position like Jok Jr playing with Mike G, Clemons and Woody who weren't really scoring threats or as a senior playing with a bunch of freshman.

Moss will be playing with JBo, hopefully Cook will be here all 4 years and Pemsl who can all score. Totally Different make up of teams to compare with Jok.

With that said, I don't ever see Moss being as an elite shooter like Jok but I think he will have a better ability to get to the rim.

I agree with you Bohannon'a not an elite athlete but he doesn't have to be when he can stroke it from deep and spread the floor.

No, not fair enough. I don't see where he said anything to you and while I agree turn about's fair play in most cases .....it's 2016 buddy, the R word ? You probably have relatives or friends with kids or know someone who has a kid with down syndrome - come up with something better.

And I used to work with kids that had down syndrome and mentally handicapped. I don't call them retards. I call them by their first names or at least their medically designated term.
