***Obligatory "They look fast" post***
I'm concerned about all the players that aren't pictured. Is everything OK with them?

So fast that they can't be caught on camera?I'm concerned about all the players that aren't pictured. Is everything OK with them?
I'm sure he's a great kid, but if he sees anything other than garbage time or special teams something went horribly wrong. Fant and Hockenson are likely going to be the difference makers on this entire team.TE Shaun Beyer #42, I think he went to CR Kennedy? Is he 3rd team TE? He had an incredible senior year while at Kennedy. Hope he see's playing time this year.
I'm not so sure about that. He's a great athlete for his size, similar to Fant. Hell, he started off his career at WR. If we wanna get goofy with 3 TE sets or passing out of 2 TE sets, I bet he sees some solid reps.I'm sure he's a great kid, but if he sees anything other than garbage time or special teams something went horribly wrong. How tall is running backs coach Derrick Foster? I am guessing 5' 6". He looks like he is about 1-foot shorter than all the QB's.
The only comment I'll make about the pictures, is that it appears Eppy and Nixon are blowing people up, and that I wish Nixon was playing this year.
Had Nixon gone to any other school, I'm sure he'd be playing this year. This is the Ferentz personal-development approach, like it or not.
I don't have an opinion about whether or not Nixon should be playing. It was just an observation. I'm cool with him sitting if that's what the staff feels is in his best interest.
Yup, I think they are trying to get him to succeed.I don't have an opinion about whether or not Nixon should be playing. It was just an observation. I'm cool with him sitting if that's what the staff feels is in his best interest.
we're in here talking about practice. I mean, listen, we're talking about practice. Not a game. Not a game. Not a game. We're talking about practice. Not a game.
I saw a picture on the hawkeye football Instagram of a number 14 catching a ball any idea who that is? When will they update the roster with then incoming freshman’s numbers
That was Ed Podolak, making a comeback in his late sixties.I saw a picture on the hawkeye football Instagram of a number 14 catching a ball any idea who that is? When will they update the roster with then incoming freshman’s numbers
ThanksThat's Kyle Groeneweg.
I have a hunch the receivers will be better this year. Marsette, Easley, Smith, Cooper, Raigani...have to be 3 solid players in there somewhere.
