again the failures are out in full force, when i got back on after forgetting my password for BD i told everyone who i posted under. and again no where in any of those threads that you showed that says i said Gabe would avg a dbl dbl, until this year i had not seen videos of Woodbury, as for my thoughts on Olaseni they were the impression i gathered from other people and discriptions from people who follow BB recruiting far more than i do.
even Fran compared his Rebounding ability to Rodman, and that was Iowa's biggest need.
but if you want to twist 7-8 ppg and 9-11 rds into a prediction of a dbl dbl . i just don't know what to say as it is a very large leap, and if you would care to reread some of those post there are a few others that had hopes for the kid, AND i still do and others do as well
so try again failures
I'm not sure why everyone seems to pencil Oglesby in as the starting SG. I think a more likely starting five is:
G Gesell
G Marble
F Basabe
F White
C Woodbury/Meyer
i guess it is because people like you throw people out the window in favor of others.Meyers as a possible starter at the center i do not agree, and don't understandI'm not sure why everyone seems to pencil Oglesby in as the starting SG. Olaseni, as there was a nice interview with Fran in the Gazette about Olaseni, try getting out and pick up a paper you might actually learn something, and there is still McCabe or White or Basabe that can play center if need be. we have 6 players that wil be capable of playing the PF or Center spot

again you take the high numbers to try and make a case, typical failure. as for block shots i have no idea what is considered high or low or in this case what would classified as good or bad.
i just figured .5 blks per game by Cole at 6'7 were very low, and i would think a 6'10 kid with a reach of a 7'2 player would do better than that.
if someone would go back and find Acie Earles #'s on block i would like to see them.
There will be 6 guys battling for minutes at the 4 or 5 spots.
White, Basabe, McCabe, Meyer, Woodbury and Olaseni. Olaseni will be the last of these 6 to see any meaningful minutes next year and I actually hope he takes a redshirt next year.
Im tired of you always hating on incoming freshman for the Hawks herby. Last fall you were hating on Woodbury saying that he would never start before Gabe and now you are hating on Meyerrrzzz. Im sick of it.
pretty lame attempt at trying to rip or whatever you are doing. but i still say that Meyer will play primarily at the PF. keep trying you are becoming very amusing and Olaseni will get meaningful minutes at the center spot
