possible lineup this fall

again the failures are out in full force, when i got back on after forgetting my password for BD i told everyone who i posted under. and again no where in any of those threads that you showed that says i said Gabe would avg a dbl dbl, until this year i had not seen videos of Woodbury, as for my thoughts on Olaseni they were the impression i gathered from other people and discriptions from people who follow BB recruiting far more than i do.
even Fran compared his Rebounding ability to Rodman, and that was Iowa's biggest need.
but if you want to twist 7-8 ppg and 9-11 rds into a prediction of a dbl dbl . i just don't know what to say as it is a very large leap, and if you would care to reread some of those post there are a few others that had hopes for the kid, AND i still do and others do as well
so try again failures

The only failures I have read today are your predictions for Gabe this year. 9 points and 11 rebounds a game is very close to a double double.

No comment on the 5 blocks a game you had him penciled in for? That is a number Anthony Davis did not reach this year for Kentucky.

Keep on failing though dragonherby.

again you take the high numbers to try and make a case, typical failure. as for block shots i have no idea what is considered high or low or in this case what would classified as good or bad.
i just figured .5 blks per game by Cole at 6'7 were very low, and i would think a 6'10 kid with a reach of a 7'2 player would do better than that.
if someone would go back and find Acie Earles #'s on block i would like to see them.

I'm not sure why everyone seems to pencil Oglesby in as the starting SG. I think a more likely starting five is:

G Gesell
G Marble
F Basabe
F White
C Woodbury/Meyer

as somebody finally posted in another thread all i posted was Gabe would avg 7-8 ppg and 9-11 rbdspg THATS a long way from a dbl dbl, so try again failure. as i never said Gabe would post a dbl dbl. even when i posted under the name dragon hawk did i post those lies you keep spreading.
and i never hid my other name as i when i came back from my stroke i lost my Pass word and started posting under herby as that was the very 1st name i used, if you care to look it up its very easy to do as the sign up date is listed under each name.
again you are the biggest liar on here

i guess it is because people like you throw people out the window in favor of others.
Meyers as a possible starter at the center i do not agree, and don't understand

why do you have to throw Meyer out the window like that?

since Meyer is going to be a PF and not a center. i guess whatever it takes to take a shot at me makes you feel so superior. go for it

Meyer may be a natural PF, but Woodbury isn't going to be playing 40 minutes a game as a 7'1" freshman in an uptempo system, and when they're resting Woodbury, who else are they going to play at C over Meyer?

Olaseni, as there was a nice interview with Fran in the Gazette about Olaseni, try getting out and pick up a paper you might actually learn something, and there is still McCabe or White or Basabe that can play center if need be. we have 6 players that wil be capable of playing the PF or Center spot

So when Woodbury is resting, and Meyer and either McCabe, White or Basabe are in the game, you think Meyer is going to play PF and a shorter guy will play C? Meyer will see most of his minutes backing up Woodbury and Olaseni will struggle to get 10 minutes a game, much less the 9-11 boards you have him penciled in for.

I'm sure the McCaffery article was very enlightening and it must have been a big shocker to see him compliment one of his players. I'm pretty sure he hasn't said anything positive about the rest of the team.

There will be 6 guys battling for minutes at the 4 or 5 spots.

White, Basabe, McCabe, Meyer, Woodbury and Olaseni. Olaseni will be the last of these 6 to see any meaningful minutes next year and I actually hope he takes a redshirt next year.

Im tired of you always hating on incoming freshman for the Hawks herby. Last fall you were hating on Woodbury saying that he would never start before Gabe and now you are hating on Meyerrrzzz. Im sick of it.

Acie Earl Blocks per Game at Iowa:

Freshman- 2.3
Sophomore- 3.3
Junior- 4.0
Senior- 2.5

So to be clear, you had a freshman Gabe Olaseni blocking as many or more shots per game than Acie Earl did in his best shot blocking season at Iowa. Nice work dragonherby.

pretty lame attempt at trying to rip or whatever you are doing. but i still say that Meyer will play primarily at the PF. keep trying you are becoming very amusing and Olaseni will get meaningful minutes at the center spot

I said there would be 6 guys battling for minutes at the 4 and 5 spots, which are the PF and C spots and Gabe would be the last of those guys to see any meaningful minutes next year.

You really do have a reading comprehension problem.
