So, 33 out of 39 say at least Kirk needs to retire. That number's higher than I expected. More people are accepting the reality of Kirk & Iowa Football.

I voted no, but if ther is a succession plan in place I'd be good with it. There, however, is not. I would guess 3-5 more years minimum.

I'm a KF guy, but hiring Davis and keeping him will ultimately be his undoing. Oil and water...and the oil is on fire.

I cant vote on either as A. Kirk can do what he wants....do I want him to retire yeah but "should he"? Not if he wants to go from rich to filthy rich from sheer mediocrity then no....as for Mr. Brown should he be banned I am not a mod and Ive been banned a time or two its not that bad.

Look at it this way.

Number of times Deano & Icky have engaged in ad hominem: 1 million
Number of times JB has: A tiny fraction of that number.

So if Deano & Icky are here for eternity, well, don't worry your pretty little head about me.

I honestly thought Kirk should have went out on top after last year.

This year isn't even surprising to most of us... and that says something.

Agreed. The new contract almost guarantees that it ends badly. Ever since it was signed I can't get this clip out of my head.

Number of times I have attacked JoshBrown unprovoked: 0
Number of times JB has brought up my name out of nowhere and attacked me: 1 million.

Now you have provoked me, your thread reminds me of a 2 year old child having a temper tantrum.....The thread is beyond dumb, KF retiring after signing a 10 year extension. LOLOLOLOLOL, you sir are an idiot.

Oh, and if you just leave me out of it, out of your posts, I don't post in your threads, just like you asked me not to. If you bring me up, I will post.

KF isn't going anywhere but to the bank but his OC needs to retire and go back to texas.

If he's the classy guy everyone says he is, maybe some gentle prodding will help him to see what is best for all. BTW, we all owe a debt to Davis and Rudock. Davis because he has proven the problem isn't at the OC level. Rudock because he proved that Iowa QBs are draft-worthy when paired with a competent OC.

I wonder how many on here that think he should retire would give up 4.5 mil per year doing something you enjoy? My guess, not many.

Come on, you know he's classier than the avg fan. Or maybe you're on to something, and people can finally admit he's just like every other big time H.C. ?????

Only if we have transition in place. Which we dont....so no.

I want Davis gone tomorrow though, because I think any x/o guy on the staff could do better.

Blaming the guy who executes the boss' wishes?? . . . or you could become like uihawk and lower your expectations to the Cyclone level. It's good to have options.

When this poll is over, that's when I'll let you know whether I accept the results of the poll. I'm going to keep you in suspense. I think there is mass voter fraud as I have seen Clone fans on here repeatedly. There are also dead people voting (namely Greg Davis...anyone who has seen his passing game will agree).

Is that you Trump? Lol

I voted no but I think GD should retire. Passing stats have been horrible and that's the biggest issue. Everything else I've seen Iowa do at a high level at one time or another.

I caught betwixt and between on this one. Do you think kirk would hire an innovative, young and up and coming play caller? Or, even an innovative, established, older play caller?

The people with decent critical thinking skills know the answer. But before Kool-aid can kill, first it warps the logic-centers of the brain.

It's Gred Davis' fault (I thought we replaced him with his brother Greg?) - the receivers - the music (LOL) - Phil Parker - CJB - D.King - B.F. - etc. Who has the final say over everyone just mentioned? But some board-members have turned into H.R.C. with the blame-shifting and accountability denial. But then again, the voting tells the truth.

Get rid of Kirk then we can be just like Purdue. Spend the next 10 years looking for a decent coach.
Seriously? Loser mentality right here. We might not do better because we're little ole Iowa. Jesus.. You're seriously going to compare our program to Purdue when it comes to attracting a good head coach? Wow.. If we keep this moron around for 10 more years, then the program will be in worse shape than Purdue.
