There is not an official in the country that wouldn't have thrown the flag for Pelini's hat incident. He lashed out within inches of the ref's face.

I agree the local media have been unprofessional, and that the halftime reporter's question was ludicrous. But you're being paid millions to handle that stupidity in a professional fashion. Something I admire Ferentz for greatly.

Reporters ask dumb question all the time. Regardless, Pellini has the responsibility to the University to represent them in a positive manner.

He does, but at the same time he's also human. I'll defend him on that one. He's got a reputation as a hothead, his team had just been manhandled for the first 30 minutes, and a pointless sideline reporter asks him how he feels about his QB throwing two interceptions.

Very true, and in all honesty that flag could have been throw long before it actually was. I'll defend Bo on the halftime interview, but he made his own bed with that tantrum in the 3rd quarter.

Not one of those turn overs was a fluke. Great pass defense on the two interceptions and a great hit on the Abdulla fumble. This game was a serious *** kicking. Iowa physically dominated this game and it was fun as hell to watch.

I think both defenses played well; with the difference being that Nebraska's was playing their backs against the wall most of the time. Iowa's offense cashed in when given the opportunity, but the Hawks won this game in the same way the best Ferentz teams have won games, with defense and special teams.
