Other B1G games ...

The league is pretty wild this season. Illinois was on fire, in first place, then they lose at Iowa, lose to Maryland at home, and tonight they are getting whooped at home by struggling Michigan St.

A good Iowa team goes to Purdue and gets destroyed, then Purdue goes to Indiana and wins, but then comes back home and gets dominated by Penn St.

Meanwhile, awful Nebraska is hanging tight late at Maryland.

Mack needed to kick that out.

That was Mr. Smith's neighborhood. It's the same thing Devyn Marble tried to do against Wisconsin in 2014.

Everybody better be ready to bring it every night in this league. Northwestern damn near got Rutgers the other night in Jersey.

Izzo gets a call and is still working the refs. How can a lose ball be a foul when u get the ball? He had the ball before the contact.

These last two games tonight. Rutgers/Northwestern on Sunday.

I'd just like to say that they are sooooo relaxing to watch when teams other than Iowa are participating in them

Anybody's game now.

By Izzo standards this is a poor shooting Sparty team. I can see why they've struggled a bit.

Rutgers showed glimpses last year.

PSU has been trying yo improve for some time.

Underwood quit trying to fit squares into circles.

Like him or not, Nebby has a good coach.

IZ might be feeling MSUs Nasser issue.

Why the F do refs just stand there and have a conversation with Izzo? No other coaches get that kind of treatment. And right on cue, DJ Carstensen, who looked like he was making a dinner date with Izzo, calls a foul 30 ft away against Illinois.

Wow, what a finish! All the Illini players went for the block and nobody blocked out.

The Illini guy slipped and twisted his knee pretty badly.

Hope Ayo is ok. If Cockburn learns how to play he would be a beast. Two guys coming to help and block a shot with that much time is dumb.

I don’t get it either. He seems to be a ref favorite with all the dinners they go to.

Somewhat like our Maryland game last year when three players went to stop Cowan-and Fernando beat three guys for the rebound and putback.

Illinois was in a tough spot there. If a Sparty got breathed on the refs were going to blow the whistle.
