Again Rutgers in the close game. A game like Houston was good for them in the long run. They took a big lesson and motivation from it and put it to use. Of course we know you learn how to win and learn how to win close games.

I assume we all want Indiana to lose. Quality win at MSU and they are projected as a 10 seed and us a 9 so hypothetically that could swap with a nice road win.

This next stretch for Iowa is incredibly important to get a decent win. Iowa has 0 Q1 wins since our old friend Alford and Nevada beat Utah State on the road last night

Virginia is 15-9 and leading their game. So if they win and are 16-9 and move up to 5th in the ACC they could move up? A Q1 is also 1-75 on the road and Virginia is currently 80. Close to getting to 75 anyhow. If VA keeps going that could get to a Q1.

Myles Johnson missed a bunch of easy putbacks and close shots... he makes those shots and they beat Houston. Somehow if Rutgers gets a 2nd opportunity this year Omuriyi(sp?) isn't missing those shots.

Mulchay, Baker, Omuriyi, and Harper,Jr. are a pretty good lineup to grind games out in the 60's. Eventually, someone will run them out of the gym, but you can see a scenario where it doesn't happen until the 2nd or 3rd week of the tournament.

Kansas is wearing throwback uniforms that they could have borrowed from the Hickory Huskers. They almost look like they came from a YMCA league.
 
Was scrolling through website “big ten basketball” and 247 sports has an article about Hunter Dickknson facing off against Kofi Cockburn, article is titled “King Kong vs Godzilla”. I fucking choked i was laughing so hard at the title alone. As i recall we had an annoncer suspended for using half that title

Jesus Rutgers. What's going on with them? I think we are better off if they lose. No way we finish above Illinois. Now if we would have finished off Rutgers and Penn State, an Illinois loss would move us into a tie for first in the loss column.
 
I’m watching Illinois and MSU. Announcers are talking about some random Illinois player saying his career high is 25 and came against . . . Pause . . .(I’m saying to myself Iowa) announcer finishes with you and I guessed it Iowa.
