I have flat given up on calling Wisconsin overrated, though all the metrics say they are. They flat out don't lose close games, and deserve SOME credit for that. Computers and metrics don't execute possessions where you have to have it, or have to get a stop. They don't make huge free throws, players do.
 
Wisky hosts Purdue on Tuesday. If they win that they are BIG champions. They won their earlier matchup with Purdue so I would think they have the tiebreaker if they lost their last game. It seems crazy. They don’t often seem to have the best players but always seem to be at the top of the conference. Have to give credit where credit is due.

It's no contest that Gard is BIG COY. I thought this would finally be a down year for them. What Fran has done is great, but not as.

In retrospect last year was the down year for them (10-10 in the league, 0-3 vs Iowa) and that was with five seniors starting.

Then it turned out there was some internal squabbling within team ranks, and a well regarded assistant coach was involved. Gard didn't hesitate to get rid of coach Alando Tucker, which would have been the Iowa equivalent of bouncing Jess Settles, and then reload with a largely unproven team
 
Would Nebraska beating Ohio State be a good or bad thing for Iowa? Ohio State is our only Q1 win! But that double bye would be nice.

Everyone seems to think we’re in the dance. I’m looking for a higher finish in the BIG at this point. I don’t think an OSU loss hurts us enough to worry about but I could be wrong.

They were Q1 when we played them, that's all that matters to me.

I'd love a double bye. Speaking of quadrants Longwood (remember them?) has to be a Q2 if they make the dance.

I guarantee that will get called in two weeks. This shits gotta end, people like Davison, etc. This is why skirmishes have been breaking out the last two weeks. Sparty was chirping JBo last week, Nebraska last Friday night was chirping several players.
