OT: Tijuana for Holiday Bowl Part II

The Cartel doesn't want or intend to harm tourists, but they don't make those rationalizations when things get violent and their own lives are at stake. If you're in the wrong place at the wrong time it won't matter what the Cartel lords' initial intentions were.

It will help a bacterial infection though right? Thanks for clarifying. You remind me of the guy sitting next to a kangaroo in a bar. The caption: "Oh yeah, well I know a little bit about marsupials myself". Everyone is a wise guy. :)
99% of sinus infections are viral. Gold is right. Your doing more harm than good.

Went down to Tiajuna about 40 years ago when we were visiting friends in San Diego

Walked around the shopping areas

Then drove down to Ensenada to find a decent restaurant

I was in Tijuana this past summer with a friend. He is from the LA area and he said it was perfectly safe. He said the cartel makes money off of tourists so nobody would hassle us. Walked around all day without an incident.

The only thing that's good about TJ is that you can go to a pharmacy and get drugs you can't in the US without spending $125 for a doctor office visit. You can go in and buy antibiotics, for example. We do that whenever we are vacationing in Mexico or some other third world country.
Even if you don't need the antibiotics before going to Mexico, you'll need them when you leave.
