+1. It would seem more fitting to show a previous color themed game picture or atleast a picture of people in a full stadium. No, this was deliberately chosen as a knock on Iowa people and making it look like our stands are bare. Is it that big a deal? Not really, but finding a chance to take a jab at Iowa and using two innocent people to do so is like Jeebus said, pretty unprofessional.

Jeez guys its just a picture. Be happy a Omaha paper ran anything about the hawkeyes because i can never find anything about the huskers in the DM Register.

Come on. It's not "just a picture." A picture, as they say, is worth a thousand words.

This picture was intentional, it was selected to make fun of Iowa. The people who selected it are not stupid. It's meant to punk the Hawkeyes. That's fine, it's a rivalry now. I'm not offended. But let's at least be intellectually honest and not feign offense at calling things what they are.

FWIW the Huskers always make the Sunday edition.

These aren't fans that are making fun of us. This is supposedly a professional news outlet.

In addition; this isn't "making fun". It's exploitation at the subject's expense.

Wow, a little thin skinned, huh? Searching for a reason to be offended?

There is nothing offensive about this picture. I wasn't offended by the Sports Soundoff clip, I found it stupid. Actually, it was ironic. I was thinking "You do realize that you are in IOWA don't you? People outside of the state of Iowa view your state in the EXACT sameway."

As unoffensive as that skit was, it is more offensive than this picture of ACTUAL Iowa fans at an actual game.

I find it offensive that you would just assume that the people are "special needs" based solely on their appearance, and that you are embarrassed that they are Hawk fans. You should be ashamed.

Your obsession with Nebraska is frightening. Really, get a life and grow up.
