Your question is a great question, and I have spent a ton of time that I should be working trying to come up with an response.
Perhaps I have been a bit too hard on Lolo. It is not that I don't believe she is a virgin (I could care less if she is or isn't), my problem with her is that she made such a big deal about it. No one coaxed the information out of her, she offered it on her own.
However, perhaps she thinks, and perhaps I am starting to agree with her, that offering that little tidbit can help people. I volunteer to mentor teens at church, some of whom I know are sexually active, and I think a role model like Ms. Jones could be helpful as an example. Using myself as an example doesn't really work, since I am such an ugly, jealous, loser, no one takes me seriously
That being said, I am still somewhat resentful about how she used that revelation, no matter how helpful it may be to others, to cash in. Call me a cynic if you have to, but your faith and sexuality are things that shouldn't be exploited to get on TV.
