Whitey's epic failures at the offensive end over the past couple weeks have me worried. The guy is showing no signs he can make a shot anymore unless it's a run out layup

White just has no confidence.


However all that said Fran is rolling the dice on lineups today. Just whacky, whacky stuff..

I'm not sure why this should surprise Iowa fans. Most knew this would be a battle. Hopefully Marble wakes up in the 2nd half. But more importantly our defense better improve or it won't matter.

Unfortunate example of Iowa inconsistency. Also, not happy with giving up drives to the basket on several occasions. Last few minutes of first half we were simply out hustled. Nice that we get some easy buckets inside, but does not help much when we give them lay ups off the drive and some easy offensive rebounds. I get really frustrated when Iowa cannot seem to buy a bucket off of a jump shot...either threes or even twos. We better get our act together in the second half or we have our first really bad loss of the season.

I'm not sure if that implies you expected a blowout here but that wasn't going to happen no matter how well we played. PSU is a pretty good team at home...it's not the same team as 3 years ago.

Yes again take people out when our offense was rolling...kill it with quirky line ups and then wonder why you lost the game. Come the last 8 minutes of every game you better know who is playing well that day and minutes be damned. Again Olaseni blocks about 6 shots but because he is only supposed to get 6 minutes a half lets pull him out. I mean are players given minute contracts or are we trying to win games!

And again why was Oglesby in on PSU's last possession of the half? I mean come on Fran do you evaluate game film at all? And yes we are getting beaten like a drum off the dribble. Wayyyyyyyy to many shots right at the rim. We have had 3 outside shots that were half way down before popping back out. Those would have helped.

Yes he did! This is Fran's BS line up change stuff that makes no sense and has to be based on minutes of play....which is totally stupid way to run your team and has cost us perhaps a couple games this year.
