Are u nuts. I just want to get out of here with a win. Their guards are getting away with arm bars and putting their shoulder into our defenders to blow by them. No wonder they get to hole so easily.
 
WOW, as good and active as we were on dee against mich we look like we are in wet concrete today/ no anticipation of them driving the lane,

This is scary as the hawks were outscored by about 10 the last 10 minutes.

Fran needs to do some coaching and get some adjustments in this game,

Uhtoff and basabe, gabe and woody playing well,


gesell playing well, need marble and white to step it up.

We need to double team to get the ball out of frazier and newbills hands then force TOs from teh other guys
 
For those of you who have chastized me for suggesting Oglesby can't play D. Did you see the last play of the first half? Oh but he's got a great shooting percentage. OH wait he only got 2 shots off. Why you would have Gesell on the bench again at key times during the game is very problematic. And yet again we tanked our offense with Marble at point.
 
Before the game, the clown in the studio said the Big 12 was the better conference because the lower teams in the Big beat the upper level teams. Seems like that shows the strength of the conference top to bottom....

We better come out ready to play second half and start making free throws. Our D seems to be failing....
 
Whitey's epic failures at the offensive end over the past couple weeks have me worried. The guy is showing no signs he can make a shot anymore unless it's a run out layup
 
We have seen this before..Dev and White look lost the first half then all of a sudden Dev has 20 points and White has 14 and Iowa pulls away
 
Basabe and Uthoff have been the offense...what does that say. I would certainly rather give Clemmons a few minutes per half jsut for his defense than watch Oglesby be a step behind every time down the court.
 
Unfortunate example of Iowa inconsistency. Also, not happy with giving up drives to the basket on several occasions. Last few minutes of first half we were simply out hustled. Nice that we get some easy buckets inside, but does not help much when we give them lay ups off the drive and some easy offensive rebounds. I get really frustrated when Iowa cannot seem to buy a bucket off of a jump shot...either threes or even twos. We better get our act together in the second half or we have our first really bad loss of the season.
