Offense making little mistakes. Need some more defense! 7-6 not bad. Could be worse.

"icing the kicker" is one of the biggest myths in football. A guy sits on the sidelines...then is suddenly rushed into duty.

Calling a timeout allows hit to loosen up, take a number of practice swings...and get focused...visualize the kick.

Explain to me how that "ices" him.

Did he miss the field goal.....

I wonder why.....

Any clues....

Do you think the three timeouts had any effect on the kicker. Perhaps he was a little too loose.....

If you can figure it out, please let me know.....

Bince Iowa only puts together one good half on offense per game, I like the way this is setting up.

Passing when Wisky shows stacked box. Good.


Execution by MM and QB have been poor.
OL looks like they forgot how to blitz block a couple of times.
Better execution has at least 10 pts on scoreboard.
Not getting to QB on TD pass. Poor.

Bullock one-handed catch. Great.
CJ catch on 3yd line. Great.

This half was execution -- not coaching.

Good post... 1 thing to add, the false start when Donall came in really hurt our chances of scoring and forced us into an obvious passing situation where we may have been able to run prior to the penalty and who knows if we got close had a decision to go for it on 4th.
