***Official Iowa Michigan game thread***

It's pretty simple: the game just got out of hand, Fran reacted the way he felt was best. And frankly, we now know that Olaseni will be a serious force if he continues to progress.

Did you watch him on the defensive end at all and see how he was allowing himself to get blocked out on the defensive boards? He looked ok offensively but he needs a lot of work defensively until we can call him a force.

I'm behind Fran 100% and I will be critical because I love the Hawks. I'm not afraid to say it, I didn't like how Fran Coached the ending against Indiana and didn't appreciate how this game played out.

No, no there isn't. Actually not giving a **** while the team is down and then jumping back in claiming to be a fan when the team is looking more competitive is the definition of being a bandwagon fan.

Either you don't know what a fair weathered fan is or you an idiot. I can't tell.

You're off to a promising start on this site.

Accepting, as a fan, that the team is going to lose a game when they're down by 20+ to possibly the best team in the country is not the same as not giving a ****. If you think a team like Iowa is going to come back from that far down against a team like Michigan in Crisler, you either don't know basketball, or you're an idiot.

MG finished the game with 2 fouls and AC with 3 fouls. Oh right because message needed to be sent to stick to game plan, the one you didn't follow while sitting on the bench. I get it.. :)
They didn't follow it when they were in either...and of course they finished with low foul totals since they didn't play much after that...stop arguing in circles and flush this one and move along.

I blame this all on Spank...Iowa always plays better when there's a game chat...

I bear full responsibility for this loss. My wife and I took our dog for a walk, we then went so she could do a little shopping (shoes, of course). We got home with the game tied 23-23 with about five minutes to go in the first half. UscuM went on their run to lead by 11 at halftime, and you could turn your TV sets off two minutes into the second half.

I sincerely apologize to all of HawkeyeNation for screwing up what was an even, competitive game by simply tuning in. Diesel, please ban me for life, or until a Fran-coached Iowa team makes it to the Dance, whichever comes first.

Who's talking about a single game here? What the hell are you even talking about.

Actually the fault is mine. I turned the game on today and Iowa was up 23-19. I can't recall Michigan actually missing even one single shot the entire rest of the first half, and it only snowballed from there.
