***Official Iowa Michigan game thread***

Nice piece of coaching there, Fran - quit 30 seconds into the 2nd half.

The only reason they're not on the bus already is the fine from the b1g. Ya suppose Fran heard the collective "click" when he threw that crap line-up on the floor?

Why not play 5 guys that want to play. The starters quit long before Fran did.
 
Looks like we are far from being back and this game may just destroy any confidence the team has. We may not win a Big 10 game for a while and it may be several years until we are back if this happens too much this year.

Also getting sick to my stomach watching the thug dancing on the sideline of Michigan after every basket...dudes, have some class....

That's not quitting...that's sending a message at the expense of a loss that was already coming, because the guys who are receiving the message weren't going to do anything to make the comeback a possibility.

It's easy to overreact while watching this crap, but don't forget the game at Indiana last year and how things got better after it.
 
talent deficit

the quality on this team lacks maturity, the maturity lacks quality

next year will be a little better, but Fran needs difference makers in the 2014 class, otherwise this program will be on the treadmill of B1G mediocrity

talking about coaching decisions and player decisions is fun and all, but the bottom line is that this team doesn't have first division talent, and it's going to take another couple of recruiting classes to fix that. if you don't have the horses, the rest of it is moot.

If we were talking about Jr. and Sr's. I would understand more of those things you say about sending a message. Michigan is LOADED with talent young and veterans. Iowa is just young..


Iowa starters need to feel the burn of this one and feel it on the court..
