***Official Iowa Michigan game thread***

Looks like we are far from being back and this game may just destroy any confidence the team has. We may not win a Big 10 game for a while and it may be several years until we are back if this happens too much this year.

Also getting sick to my stomach watching the thug dancing on the sideline of Michigan after every basket...dudes, have some class....

Wait, did I stumble in the football forum?

I know it is....but we have such a brutal schedule we could be waiting for our first Big 10 win for a couple weeks yet if this thrashing does what it might to our confidence....this is so ugly, worse than I thought it would be....

Iowa got drilled in back-to-back games by Ohio State and Michigan State last year (by even more points than what this one may end up at). They beat Michigan in their next game.

They got drubbed by Indiana in Bloomington, and won their next two.

Got hammered by Northwestern and lost to Penn State, then beat Indiana and Wisconsin.

I'm not worried about this game destroying their confidence going forward. There's little reason to believe it will.

If we were talking about Jr. and Sr's. I would understand more of those things you say about sending a message. Michigan is LOADED with talent young and veterans. Iowa is just young..

Iowa starters need to feel the burn of this one and feel it on the court..
And sometimes the best view is from the bench when you're not doing your job on the court...and are you trying to say Iowa has no talent? Or just that the talent is young?

So this is what a talented team looks like? This Michigan team is loaded and should destroy the rest of the B1G.

When is our first Big 10 win? Mich St? Northwestern? Wisconsin? I just hope this game doesn't shatter any confidence the team has....

Those that are freaking out, this is what happens when a final four caliber team plays a low-end bubble/NIT team at home. Flush it and move on.

dribble, dribble, dribble, turnover or brick......fast break the other way for a slam or transition 3......

That's basketball. Snort.

Bad defense, calls seem to be one sided although when you play bad defense you start reaching and you're out of position which leads to fouls. Iowa played well to start with but after it was 29-29 it seems like we lost all of our energy. I also question having 4 subs in the lineup at once. Gabe O. and May seriously handicaps our offense. I do think Fran is trying to send a message to the starters. We are nowhere near Michigan in athletic ability but when the game started we played great team ball and very unselfish. This game seems like every bounce, call going Michigans way. I do give credit to Michigan, they are playing very well.
