official espn3 rant thread

I tried posting this earlier, but it didn't make it. Probably because I posted a link.

Any game that is televised can be watched on First Row Sports. You'll have to Google it. Plus, there are popups and ads you'll have to close.

Except that it didn't work this week. There was an audio stream on first row but no video that worked.

Seriously, I have direct tv and that pisses me off. To top it off as I read each and every post on here I see freaking Direct tv's AD directly off to the right pane, now that pisses me off even further!!!!

Not a fan of games being on ESPN3, but as a Dish subscriber I'd rather have it on ESPN3 then on Mediacom.

We have a ranked team playing well against competition it should play well against and BTN can't be bothered to air the game? Not even a replay in the wee hours of the night? I'm mystified as to the purpose of having a league network that won't show league games. Is there a field hockey match that conflicts with the schedule?

But by airing it in the wee hours of the night or the next day would take a time slot away to show 4th and 5th replays of a game from 2 days ago. We can't have that.

It's frickin 2014. How the hell is it harder to watch games now than it was 30 years ago? If espn has tv rights to a game and chose not to put it on tv, shouldn't someone else be able to air it? This is worse than when the Big 10 Network started and I couldn't watch most of the games because since Todd Lickliter isn't the coach I actually care. If you don't have an acceptable provider they should at least give you the option to pay for specific games you want to watch. F U espn, F U espn3, and F U directv!

Just bring up ESPN 3 on your computer and watch the game. It's free. Is it as good as a big screen TV? No, but you can still watch it.
