No way Paterno survives this if he knew.

PSU prez stands behind their AD?? President may go down too if he the AD is found guilty
 
Joe Pa is fine he reported it ASAP, did everything he was supposed to. Paterno is a classy guy, no part of me wants to see him go down.
 
It looks like Sandusky was still around the program doing charity work for boys although he was not on the staff.. Any of the senior administration should leave if Sandusky was allowed anywhere near the Penn State program for any reason after the accusation.

But I do want to see Iowa crush Penn State in the Big 10 Championship Game.
 
The charges deal with a crime that just about as serious as you can get. JoePa has a lot more responsibility than notify the AD and think that is sufficient.

but we don't know what he did beyond notifying the AD - the article can't point out all that went down behind the scenes.

maybe there is a reason JOPA is hanging on for so long.......

If he did anything other than EVERYTHING he could have.....he needs to go down. I don't care how "legendary" he is, if there was anything more he could have done that he did not, he's guilty.
 
JoePa has an extremely large amount of power. If he wanted justice served, Sandusky would have been in jail a long time ago.

He goes on witch hunts to b1tch about supposedly bad calls in football games which results in all of college football having instant replay, yet all he does about sexual abuse of children is report it to his supervisor? He should have gone to war over it and used his power to bring justice.

He may be legally in the right, but he certainly isn't morally.
 
How could anyone see that and not immediately:
1: Beat the sh!t out of that dirty man
2: immediately call the police?
 
so, graduate assistant sees Sandusky with youngster in locker room shower late at night in 2002 and he stayed on staff through 2009?

Is that right? All sounds pretty fishy.
 
PSU needs to can the AD and Prez ASAP. I would deal with the fallout of a lawsuit if they are found not guilty. This is too much to sit on

More importantly, Spanier (Prez) needs to be immediately removed from an authority position since his culpability is tied to Curley (AD). After all, Spanier both knew of the allegations against Sandusky and approved of Curley’s handling of the case.
