No way Paterno survives this if he knew.

How in the world is Paterno not responsible? He reports it and the AD does nothing. At that point, shouldn't he report it to the police? He witnessed, or heard about, a felony. Why does his responsibility end with the AD? I don't get it at all. How is he exonerated?

I think what happened is that the prosecuting attorney gave him immunity if he agreed to serve as a prosecution witness. That is how Paterno saved his own hide. PATHETIC

He met the bare minimum legal requirement, he told his superior.

As a person though, he is absolute scum. He makes guys like Rich Rodriguez and Nick Saban look like saints compared to him. He deserves to have his legacy ruined for this.

That little impromptu pep rally at Joe Fail's house last night just confirms what an arrogant, self-serving sonofab!tch the jerk really is.

If he or that coward ginger are at the stadium Saturday it will be an affront to basic human dignity.

I think it's a bad move to have the ginger and JoePa coaching on Saturday. Even though a lot of PSU folks will be loyal to JoePa, I would imagine that there would be a pretty strong contingent of PSU supporters who agree with your viewpoint on this.

Additionally, the national perception is important here, and I think many would feel as you (and I) feel.
