NIT Tickets sales must be going good.....

It was just like this last year. Granted they only know a day in advance but they really have a whole year to get ready for something like this.
 
To avoid the chaos, and since Iowa was at best a bubble team for the last two months, the ticket office should have opened up pre-ordering for NIT, just in case. Everyone could have put it their credit card numbers, and had a reservation with seat assignments, and now all you would have to do is go back in and print your tickets. Worst case, would have been Iowa makes the NCAA and all of those reservations are voided.
 
This why I'm amazed Iowa is a 3 seeds, after huge ticket sales last year, you would think they'd give us a 1 seed just for money making purposes.

I do not think that has anything to do with it, other wise why did they not pick a different opponent for Kentucky than Robert Morris?
 
UK is not going to do much for ticket sales at Rupp. Cat fans will not go and watch their team play in the NIT (no matter who they play) it is beneath the dignity of their program.

I dont think he was suggesting play the game at Rupp.

Robert Morris arena only holds just over 3K. He was suggesting if the NIT was overly concernced ticket sales why didnt they choose an opponent to host Kentucky that had an arena bigger than then one Robert Morris has.
 
It's not likely you can secure some scaleable phone answering system like this on less than 24 hours notice. Even if they had 100ppl answering phones and 5000 called at once, a lot of busy for a long time
 
Got mine, row 14 section k. I did pick my on seating and picked tickets high in K because it was the best available. Then it didn't go through cause someone must have did it at the same time. Then I notice 8 seats in row 14 majically appeared so I hopped on that fast. Looks like this sucker will be pretty pack, the sides are already full.

I got 2. Needed to be in same row- for my 8 year old.

My sister just got 3 in row 39, almost to row 42, yeah it likely sells out.

If you go to buy a ticket, and then up above click on find your own seats. You can see how many are left. If it is right there are only seats behind one of the baskets. Probably less than 2,000 left.
