Well.......I've got some bad news for you. Better sit down, we need to talk
The other factors that help Iowa is NW getting into the NCAA tournament
This is a tough one, because Iowa needs to beat NW, which will kill NW's chances of getting into the NCAAs (barring them winning the BTT).
NIT???? NCAA baby! We are hot now with two very weak teams to play this week. We win out and make a deep run in the BIG and we are NCAA bound.

Preaaaattty weak team overall, yes.Northwestern is not a weak team. Sorry.
Preaaaattty weak team overall, yes.
Weak? No. Between Shurna and Crawford, they have some scoring threats.
Their wins over decent LSU and Seton Hall teams, plus a victory over Michigan State demonstrate a fairly high ceiling. They also have no bad losses. They are a solid bubble team.
If you call a 43 ranked rpi team "preaaaattty weak," the I suppose you're right. I, however, don't.
Quality Wins: Michigan State.... and.... Seton Hall?
Tulsa is a better win than LSU.
Only one win over the Top 50.
Not a very strong team resume-wise or on the court.

I can't believe people are still bringing up the NCAA tournament.
Harp on RPI being flawed all you want, the bottom line is the committee uses it and Iowa is 130th. Even making it to the BIG championship we won't crack 100. Our OOC SOS is a joke and our conference schedule is the easiest in the BIG (only team to play OSU and MSU only once).
The bad losses cancel out the good wins. So please...stop putting false hope into people saying Iowa can still get an at large. It's not happening.
