You guys are turning this into a Gatens thread.
First of all it is ok to change your mind about anything. What we have seen from Gatens the past 4 days is something special. But I can't help but wonder where has this been the past couple of years? It is like 2 weeks ago Gatens woke up and realized that his days as a Hawk are numbered so he was going to go out and lay it all on the line. Then in the Wisconsin game he got so hot he started firing, and hitting, shots with someone in his face. This is something we have not seen very much of from Gatens as I have even seen him pass up some wide open looks earlier in the year. I cannot help but wonder if this is a lingering side effect of playing under Lick his first 2 years. If he would have taken some of those shots when Lick was coach he would have gotten benched.
Hopefully Gatens can continue his torrid pace and lead Iowa to a couple more wins.
