Nebraska at Illinois

ILL 30, Neb 22

Touchdown! Oliver Martin for Nebby!

Neb of course misses the extra point (again)

Interesting to see that Oliver Martin still has some eligibility left after all his transfers.

He was in the same class as ISM and B. Smith, and they didn't RS. So this is his 5th year. He should still have one year left due to the free COVID year.

2 years at Mich (RS his first year there)
1 year at Iowa
this is 2nd year at Nebbie.

Thanks Frosty got the first leg of my parley, betting against Nebby is fun and easy. Got a Pic of Nebby’s new training facility. BAF3871F-1B4A-469D-BBF0-22B653D3828F.jpeg

Not that Nebraska needs any help, but why don't they model their program off of one the military schools that run triple option? They use to do that back in the heyday and would be a niche opponent you would have to prepare for that week. Maybe hire Army's coach or something like that.

On their message boards, they're blaming the former AD for hiring him because he's a terrible coach. If he had hired anyone else, he would have been shot.

Is there a more erratic qb than Martinez?
I only watched most of the 1st half. Martinez's cumulated stats from less than 5 years: 30 INT'S and 26 FUMBLES. If Frost starts him ever again he's stupider than I thought.

In the right hands I really do think he could have been a very good college qb. I am talking difference maker type. It is too late now, he is what he is at this point.
