Nebby just fired their AD

My biggest gripe is I'll (admittedly trolling a bit) comment in a coworker group chat about the downward trend since the advantages of the Big 8 ended and they always clap back with something like "We know we're not going to be 90s good again, we just want to consistently be as good as Wisconsin." The problem is, THEY WERE. TWICE and they fired both coaches. Solich and Pelini were both over .700. That's better than Wisconsin going back all the way through Alvarez. So they try to pretend their expectations are rational but they're not.
 
If I were Frost I wouldn't. Sure seems a lot of these hot young coaches leave a good thing to be the savior of a big program else where and........Well we know how the Texas thing has gone the last few years.

Interestingly, article mentions one of the best AD replacement possibilities is Jamie Pollard from Iowa State. Acknowledges what he has done at Iowa State. I tell you, I could see it, especially if the Big 12 conference isn't the healthiest. He just may jump ship to the better conference.

yeah, but Iowa would still have to deal with that smug ***hole every year. Be nice if he could go to some school like texas. Everyone already hates texas anyway.
 
How is Pollard a good choice? His only success is on the fundraising side and nebby has plenty of money. He's hired multiple football coaches who failed and got lucky on one BB coach who was an ex player.
 
Guys on ESPN radio just said that "Nebraska has to realize they are not the Nebraska of the 90s they are now Iowa".

His football coaches have not worked out. Prohm is TBD although I think he'll work out.

Basketball doesn't matter at Nebby.

If Nebby boosters are looking at his resume, then no way. Nebby fans are going to want one of their own "to make things right" at AD and HC.

And for Nebby fans to say that they are not talking about 70s-90s success...they're fake newsing it.
