Oh bullshit, that's literally the last thing you want to do. You've made that abundantly clear.
What?
Oh bullshit, that's literally the last thing you want to do. You've made that abundantly clear.
How many of those players are the only PG on the roster? What are their minutes per game? What about their FG %? You think Bohannon would be playing as much at Oregon as Pritchard is? You falling for all of that is not surprising
You're the stats guy. Don't want to use stats anymore? Obviously each guy is in a different situation but that's why showing a list of lot of players shows you that for the most part Jordan is hanging in there.
This is spot on, Most Fr. come in and struggle. Here are the 4* PG, and what they are doing so far this year. I left a couple off the list that can't get more than 10-15 MPG,
Cassius Winston 7.2 PPG 5.9 APG 2.4 TO/G
Alterique Gilbert 10.3 PPG 2.0 APG 1.3 TO/G
Tony Carr 11.5 PPG 3.7 APG 2.5 TO/G
Payton Pritchard 7.8 PPG 3.8 APG 1.6 TO/G
Markell Johnson 4.1 PPG 2.3 APG 1 TO/G
Anthony Cowan 10.4 PPG 3.8 APG 2.4 TO/G
Xavier Simpson 1.5 PPG 1.3 APG .7 TO/G
Jaylen Fisher 9.6 PPG 4.4 APG 3.1 TO/G
Markus Howard 11.6 PPG 2.1 APG 1.6 TO/G
Quentin Goodin 3.3 PPG 2.0 APG 1.5 TO/G
Myles Powell 10.6 PPG .7 APG 1.3 TO/G
Jared Harper 13.7 PPG 3.1 APG 1.4 TO/G
Lamar Peters 9.8 PPG 2.8 APG 1.4 TO/G
Carsen Edwards 10.4 PPG 1.9 APG 1.9 TO/G
Yet we are supposed to say that Jordan is "really struggling" yet when you compare him to the top PG kids and see how they are doing, he is right in the mix at 8.8 PPG 4.8 APG 2.3 TO/G and 11.2 PER
Keep in mind these are 4* kids, and Jordan would be 10th on this list in scoring, and 2nd in assist. Like I said I left off I think 2 or 3 others who weren't getting minutes, so he would be above them as well.
At least you admit Jordan is struggling this year
I, and everyone have said that Jordan is experiencing the TYPICAL Fr. struggles that even 4* players experience. Overall he is playing just about on average as to what the typical 4* PG recruit is playing, that is what the stat show, and you have lectured us that we can't ignore the stats....
Why leave off Moore? Why leave off FG %? Because you're trolling on this one and doing a poor job of it
I was going to list the PER, but it is a made up stat, so it didn't make the cut. It was kind of funny though the 7 of the 14 4* kids were within +/- 1 PER point of Jordan. Once again showing that Jordan is right in the mix with most 4* PG.
Which 7 were those and why did you leave off Moore and FG %?
Here are the advanced stats of 6 players Jordan is on par with PER wise and is well ahead of them shooting. These are the true shooting % and the effective FG percentages. I left Xavier off this list as he is getting less that 10 MPG and that obviously makes Jordan better than him this year.
Tony Carr 11.5 PPG 3.7 APG 2.5 TO/G 12.3 PER .470 TS% .417 eFG 96 Orate
Markell Johnson 4.1 PPG 2.3 APG 1 TO/G 8.9 PER .427 TS% .424 eFG% 94 Orate
Jaylen Fisher 9.6 PPG 4.4 APG 3.1 TO/G 12.2 PER .507 TS% .460 eFG 98 Orate
Quentin Goodin 3.3 PPG 2.0 APG 1.5 TO/G 9.2 PER .490 TS% .488eFG 88 Orate
Carsen Edwards 10.4 PPG 1.9 APG 1.9 TO/G 11.7 PER .462 TS% .442 eFG% 94 Orate
Payton Pritchard 7.8 PPG 3.8 APG 1.6 TO/G 11.8 PER .507 TS% .470 eFG 109 Orate
Jordan Bohannon 8.8 PPG 4.8 APG 2.3 TO/G 11.2 PER .499 TS% .460 eFG% 103 Orate
Of the players with a similar PER, only Pritchard is significatly outperforming him in ORate. Jordan was shooting similar to the rest with a better ORate.
You can try to spin this however you want, but the stats and the advanced stats say Jordan is right there with most 4* PG.
For a guy who spends his nights watching Shameless, he sure knows a lot about other team's players defensive ability and upside.
I've watched Carr and Edwards play multiple times. Fisher was known as a great defender going back to his AAU days
So was Hutton.
Hutton was a complete liability offensively
I've watched Carr and Edwards play multiple times. Fisher was known as a great defender going back to his AAU days
If that's the case than you'd certainly know that Edwards plays off the ball for Purdue making it much easier to score. Purdue also has a really good team so I'm guessing he gets tons of looks.
Remember, Jordan has only been the starter for 11 games. I'm guessing his PER since becoming the starter is somewhere in the 12-13 range.
Yeah and Bohannon would probably be better if he played off the ball too. Just can't say he's as good as Edwards when he hasn't been. I'm not taking out the first however many games for those players listed so I'm not going to do it for Bohannon.
