Saw SRV several times, Iowa State Fair, Five Seasons, blues fest in Bettendorf, etc. Then he got on a helicopter and that was it.

X. Billy Zoom is effing awesome.
Saw them at the IMU Ballroom in 1985. Then in 2005 at the Blubird in Denver. Memorable shows both.

I saw them after Zoom left the band, and was replaced by Tony Gilkyson. Missed seeing them in 82 at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis. I had a test the next day.
