@InGoodCo I still can’t put this one down, man. It’s seriously the closest thing that the current period of time has to a Dark Side Of The Moon or LZ IV.

Sturgill has US dates out, which one are we hitting?

If I could add another comp, how about the Steve Miller Band?

But this is better than most Steve Miller. It's moodier, more atmospheric, yet very rhtyhmic at the same time.

I'll be at Baxter arena in Omaha ....fucking Tyler Childers too. Great tour. I love pretty much every song on Sound and Fury and it hasn't left my playlist since it came out. I thought about going up to Minne too.... cause I thought it was at 1st Ave....which would be insane since it only holds 1500 people..... but alas it's just sponsored and presented by 1st Ave and it's somewhere pretty comparable to Baxter in Omaha.

Neither of those two dates work for me due to umpiring clinics that I can't get out of. I was hoping for some smaller venues, once you hit that 8-10 thousand mark it gets to arena-ish for me the older I get.

The Armory isn't too bad, it's got a 1940s aircraft hanger vibe, but again it's a little too big for my tastes.

Never been to the Armory. I really like Baxter - I've seen 2 shows there since it opened. Dwight Yoakam and Willie and then Jack White solo. In town it's my favorite place to see a show. Parking is easy. Tons of night life around it and the seating is amazing. Instead of shitty plastic seats that are narrow as F and uncomfortable, they have plush seats with tons of room. It's built for comfort....not that I sit all that much....but my old ass needs a break now and then too.

Anybody on here been in here? I've seen REO, Head East, Brownsville Station (to name a few). I grew up in Hampton..was a fairly easy 40 minute drive.

Haven't been here, but did go to a wedding reception at the Inwood in Spillville, IA this July. Link to the website about this old ballroom.

Over the years dance music has been provided by many bands and groups such as Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Guy Lombardo, Harry James, Glen Miller, Lawrence Welk, Louis Armstrong, The Byrds and Bobby Godlboro, just to mention a few.
