After missing a few chances to see them in the late 80s, I finally saw the Mats at Riot Fest 6 years ago. pretty fun show. They came out in western gear...skirts. Classic.

Iggy and (a few of) the Stooges played too. Excellent set.

Iggy belongs on a medal stand with Keith Richards and Willie Nelson of "musicians who will never die"

I suppose you could add Ozzy Osbourne and make it a Mount Rushmore but he is indeed only 70. He's a pup compared to the other three.

That's a pretty good start on the Mount Rushmore of living legends that fully embraced the rock and roll lifestyle and lived to tell the sordid stories.

One of my favorite Willie Nelson songs. A bro back in college had this song on an album, but he was a huge AC/DC and metal fan. I think he said that he had to buy it because it was called, I Gotta Get Drunk LIVE! or something like that...had to have the album.

When I am having a bad day at work, I tell our office manager that I am a '5' on the Gotta Get Drunk scorecard.

Or a Bloody Mary Morning, this Saturday after tomorrow's Happy Hour.

A bucket list concert unfortunately I'll never be able to see....BTO. Had/have all their stuff. And of course, RB wrote most every single hit for his fellow Canadians....The Guess Who before striking out on his own. Burton Cummings owes his early career to RB.

Bachman absolutely tears it up during that 15-minute-extended American Woman presentation. Stellar.

Some indirect AC/DC roots in the Easy Beats. Angus and the late Malcolm Young's brother, George!

George and Harry Vanda of the Easy Beats went on to produce a few AC/DC albums...
