I'm sure the "Trout Mask Replica" album is best appreciated at a black light party, naked with friends, bodies oiled and covered with popcorn.
I'm sure Don would have whole heartedly approved.

Anyone listen to country music?!?!
very good, very tight, very Leppeliny!!!!New young band out of Michigan. 3 of them are brothers. Singer is a dead ringer for Robert Plant.....
This group must be the missing Leppelin brothers Ed and Fred!!!very good, very tight, very Leppeliny!!!!
The original, by the Spencer Davis Group (featuring Steve Winwood) and the cover by Chicago in 1970.
I used to hate "Ants Marching" by the Dave Matthews Band. Now I at least tolerate it and may see them this summer.NC, what dont you like about A whiter shade of pale? It was another trippy, psychodelic experimental type song and that was the times.
Who would you see? I would see him on the hunch that he is better live than on record. But "Ants" flat out annoyed me for years. But perhaps I'll expand my horizons and give them a shot.^ Sorry, but I wouldn't see that braying donkey even if I got free tickets.
I mentioned Firefall a couple of times earlier in the thread. I personally enjoy the "soft rock" groups of the late 70s to early 80s and Firefall was one of the better ones, along with LRB, Ambrosia, ARS, Orleans, Pablo Cruise, etc.Firefall is a very good and somewhat overlooked band. Great harmonies, instrumentation, arranging, use of sax, flute, horns, whatever it takes. This one plus Strange Way, Mexico and a dozen other top songs,
