I don't know how I totally forgot about Temple. Great CD.
NC, what dont you like about A whiter shade of pale? It was another trippy, psychodelic experimental type song and that was the times.
I dont listen to country hardly at all but that was good because it had a fast pace, I grew up a long time ago when country mainly meant SLOW and heartbroken

Great comparison, Chicago could really lay it out there, Terry Kath was a top player according to Hendrix himself.

I used to hate "Ants Marching" by the Dave Matthews Band. Now I at least tolerate it and may see them this summer.

Who would you see? I would see him on the hunch that he is better live than on record. But "Ants" flat out annoyed me for years. But perhaps I'll expand my horizons and give them a shot.

I mentioned Firefall a couple of times earlier in the thread. I personally enjoy the "soft rock" groups of the late 70s to early 80s and Firefall was one of the better ones, along with LRB, Ambrosia, ARS, Orleans, Pablo Cruise, etc.
Yes all very good stuff, I am only through page 18 of 91 on this thread and am late to be reading/listening to it so I may be repeating earlier entries.
