Grace Slick sang, of all things, a counting jingle in a Sesame Street animation. It had a driving guitar riff that you certainly wouldn't associate with a children's show. I heard the jingle would occasionally make into their live shows.

Awesome find but.....Jazzy? That riff? Add a little distortion and you have Black Flag or even early Husker Du. That riff is punk rock. Again awesome find.

As a side note, Ian Gillan sang the role of Jesus on the 1970 album "Jesus Christ Superstar." He was so phenomenal he was offered the role of Jesus in the 1973 movie of the same name.

Not considering himself an actor, he declined. Thus the role went to Ted Neeley.
