Meh...too hard finding Hawk vids.

Janes Addiction. Holy crap they are great when they are on. Saw the first tour of Lolapalooza in Phoenix. 1992 ish. Siouixe and the Banshees and Living Colour were awesome. Nine Inch Nails couldnt play because they were to come on at 2pm and it was too fucking hot! 110 or so. LOL. It was an awsome show! IceT and body count!

But it was the begining of the end for Janes Addiction. Dave Navoarro stormed off the stage when his guitar effed up, they played afew more tunes and when his second or third guitar started cutting out, he slammed it on the stage and threw it to the crowd. And that was it. 5 shows later I think they broke up.

But. I saw em, 4 times after that with the important members! Go see em if they tour...

Stupid fucking Goofers...Tasty Juicy Lucy burgers. Good music, Husker Du, The Replacements, Prince and more I am sure in the the last 10 years...GO HAWKS!!!!!!!

Weird Sweden band. Whale.

Another early 90s Swedish 'grunge' one hit wonder.

Salt.

If we're goin' to Sweden...Frida or Agnetha?

Here's a picture of NY City for you.

It's Just Too Much

The VU's shadow of influence is deep, wide and extremely important.

These guys are VU fanatics. And just a little too clever for their own good. With the 'Welcome to the Monkey House' Vonnegut album title and the cover taking lots of direction from VU and Andy, himself.

But godammit, I like their catchy hooks.

BASTARDS!

The Dandy Warhols.

Melvins - Let It All Be

Melvins, now here's a band I need to go see. Read this in the Denver Westword rag...

The band's most recent twist is laid bare in the new album Pinkus Abortion Technician — released this past April on Ipecac Recordings — which includes two bassists: Jeff Pinkus of Butthole Surfers fame and Steven McDonald of OFF!/Red Kross.

The Butthole Surfers were at that first Lolllapalllallazazza show. But I don't remember them. Rollins Band, Violent Femmes and Fishbone also played. Arrived late and didn't see Fishbone. Saw em years later...

Butthole Surfers

Saw Red Kross at Gabes Oasis - fairly certain it wasn't Denver - around 92 or 93. It was a fun show, they have a certain sense of humor, in on the joke so to say...

Damn, Denver

F every one of those bloody gophers

Give those bastards a few pineapples to munch on

A little narcotic transaction going down in Harlem. A Jewish Caucasian going up to 125th street with twenty six dollars in his hand.

Did Lou Reed have balls or what? I have little doubt the song is autobiographical.

What would twenty six dollars buy you in 2019? Definitely not the works and probably not the greatest of taste. You would still have to split because you would still have no time to waste.

Many years ago

We drove to Iowa City to see Lou Reed and Doctor John at the Fieldhouse

That was a rather wild show

While Lou was playing the introduction to Heroin

He started to wrap his microphone cord around his arm

Bent down and adjusted things

Crowd went nuts.

Believe it was the early seventies
