It is a true classic, considered to be one of the top 100 albums ever. It is one of my top ten.....

The Captain was not for everyone, but I really liked the Magic Band.....

He and Frank Zappa were supposedly good friends from the first.....

I really liked the cover of this Zappa album.....

I still have the first Mothers of Invention album.....

Die Hard may have posted Queen's most "underrated" tune. This, however, is their best!

I actually had this album. I had, and still have, mixed feelings about "Sweet Lady." There are points in the song that are outstanding, but also points where the composition is a mess. It's quite a mixture.

To this day, I still have a thing for Jennifer Connelly. There are scenes from "Mulholland Drive" and "Hot Spot" that are burned in my memory.

Really? Wow.

"Astral" should be required listening for every grade school student. I routinely pipe in Van on our house system whenever we have get-togethers. There are very few artists that "become" part of the music while performing, and he is one of them. I'm glad you got the chance to experience it.
