I'm going to take my chances on Ash not going off for double digits. I went ahead and took my shot at Maryland -2.

Something to keep in mind:

Maryland has played one true road game this season. It lost at Penn State, which I'm sure was a less hostile environment than the Palestra. Its other game away from College Park was against Seton Hall in Newark off campus. It lost that one as well.

Iowa isn’t going to get as many easy looks as against Nebraska either. That was a gimmick defense but the principles of doubling off our non shooters will remain.

Maryland is the type of team Iowa already struggled with. Quick PG athletic big men and athletic wings. Think a better Depaul.

If Iowa continues to play mediocre to poor defense this will be an easy Maryland win I imagine.

Fewesr points by Maryland EVER in a Big 10 conference game! Against Iowa! They shot like we did against Nebraaka. It happens to every team. We almost won anyway. Maryland didn't.

I gotta say, our perimeter defense was the best it's been in a long time against a really quick team. Cowen couldn't get into the lane for shit. Our closeouts on shooters was awesome. Then of course Garza in the lane playing unreal without fouling. That was fun to see.
