Black balled like DJK. I think willies was lucky to get out of Iowa so he didn’t end up like djk. Despite all of the adversity this young man faced in his college career he did well enough to make it to the NFL.

Why do we play guys that are hard workers with no upside? It must be demotivating to see people beneath you getting playing time because theyre good at drills in practice and are good at running their mouth

Let me know when he actually makes the team. Plenty of players sign as undrafted free agents and don't make the team.

I've been as critical as anyone regarding KF's failures at the WR position, but Willies struggled to learn the playbook, and at least one of his "wrong routes" directly resulted in an interception. The coaches wanted to see him become more focused and consistent, and his way of responding was to demand more PT. When he didn't get his way, he had a hissy fit and decided to transfer.

Your last line doesn't even make sense. So, you are saying that the less talented non-cocky WRs are getting starting positions because they are "good at running their mouth (sic)?"

No what I’m saying is kirk likes to coach good ol boys who he can easily control. Sometimes those guys are good at fake leadership talk in the locker room, but the players don’t rally behind him because the guy sitting on the bench should be starting

I’m just trying post some interesting shit on this forum. Hawkeye football has been dead since 2010. Beathards undefeated season was pretty amazing though. Had Kirk in tears, CJ saved him from getting fired

18 reception at Texas Tech. Iowa had 6 players with 18 receptions or more last year, and Tech passed the ball 541 times vs 355 for Iowa. Willis isn't any good, Iowa was better without him, classic case of addition by subtraction.

So you know who Willies is/was but don't know who Riley McAarron or Tevaon Smith were? Dude your trolling is terrible. Willies is getting an NFL tryout because he physically is a specimen. He's big long and fast. But he didn't do anything special at TT. If he'd done anything worth while there he'd have gotten drafted due to his measurables. So he's not exactly a slam dunk at the next level either. Maybe things click for him as he continues to mature and he has an NFL career worth mentioning. But I'm in wait and see mode on that.

IMO 1-2 are fun to play with, but once unchecked gets annoying. The rivals board famously has tons of trolls, and it's just a mess.
