Just to update everyone (including BEATHARDTEAMS) Tevaun Smith is still under contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He's guaranteed over a half-million dollars this season. So we DO have a wide receiver in the NFL (at least under contract in the NFL). He was drafted and caught on with the Colts and was traded to the Jaguars. He was not a UDFA (like Derrick Willies).
McCarron is still with the Pats as well.

If McCarron can really learn that footwork to reverse directions, read coverage and find the holes he can be another Welker or Amendola if he wants to and has the great hands. he is fast enough maybe as fast or faster than those really good slot receivers.
OBrien at Houston said he was really looking good and would like to keep him but maybe they didnt have the roster spot. Some teams would love him as a punt kick returner, gunner, special teams kind of guy and receiver and those players add up to several roster spots.

If you really feel a poster is a troll, i.e. posting just to draw arguments, you're only encouraging them by replying to the post!
I don't agree w/ BEATHARD's tone sometimes, but it's hardly "ban worthy". Let's let Rob stay focused on providing content!
