If you had any doubt where the Clown inferiority complex comes from, it starts at the top with their dooshe AD (who is so immature he gets kicked out of his son's basketball game because he's yelling at the refs too much -- think about that for a minute), continues to Pau Woads and filters on down to assistants, players and fans. They can't act like they've been there before because, well, they haven't.
 
The funny thing is that clone fans will continue to eat this up, and when they win 3 games and blow out Kansas they will somehow think they are so close.
 
God, for a second i thought he was reciting the Boy Scout creed....trustworthy, loyal, courteous, kind, blah, blah, blah.....:)

so, Iowa fans need to put down ISU to feel good about themselves? Iowa is pretty darn average over the long haul, I think it sounds just silly for Iowa fans to talk like this.

There's a difference between making fun of them, and putting them down to feel good about ourselves. Step off your high horse and lighten up for a bit. I find it absolutely hilarious that CPR continues to create hype every single possible opportunity he gets, and their fans continue to eat it up! They can't create hype by actually winning football games so Rhoads finds a silver lining and feeds it to them. I'm absolutely dumbfounded by the level of commitment and praise their fans continue to give a coach who has literally done nothing.

Add in their crybaby message board. It is pro-Clone all the time. Chrissy Williams and his little band of CryFan goons immediately delete posts perceived to be even moderately negative to ISU athletics and perma-ban any but the most ardent of posters.

Ok, so Paul you landed ALL of your top recruits and didn't 'waste' any money on any kids that went elsewhere? Didn't bother calling any kids already committed? Sounds plausible and commendable. Good job dbag.
 
Zero class. For all the KF haters around here--be you the class/salary-envy/embittered type or one of those who (with great delusion) thinks Iowa was a national powerhouse for extended periods--KF would NEVER make an a$$ of himself in the manner Paul Rhoads did at that news conference.

KF has never publicly ridiculed or belittled a recruit that goes elsewhere, has never taken a dig at places like U$C, Alabama or other $EC schools, or at Bielema when he would poach our commit list. He handles recruiting losses with class, and he never rubs it in if we get a recruit that other schools may have coveted.

And KF actually has a sac. Rhoads restricts media access to Lazard because he's "earned" it?! KF limits access to ALL freshman because KF makes the rules. Period.
 
Really Paul, he has earned the right to have the media leave him alone next year. The kid and his pops were the media hounds, they were the ones who strung ND along and kept reporting it.

For all that Iowa fans rip on Ferentz (and Barta to a lesser extent), they are two men who take their jobs seriously and do them with class in many, many ways.

Same can't be said for those running Clown athletics.

Or the kid who flipped to indiana. Or the calls he was making to render and hesse.
 
Insecure and petty is all that was. Created some media buzz which is what he always does. Awesome coffee color suit though...
 
Seems like a lot of insecure Hawk fans in this thread. There's one school in this stat that has a longer winning streak than Alabama going and it's not us. There's no denying the momentum Roads has building at ISU. His program is for real and it's only headed one way, and that's forward.

Its so hilarious to see the Ferentz apologists try to explain this away. This is the second year in a row that the top recruit in Iowa has taken his talents up to Ames. What is wrong with Coach Rhoads pointing out that the Hawkeye's are still little brother for as long as Ferentz remains head coach in Iowa City. Paul Rhoads is coaching to win and the recruits see that in his eyes, all Ferentz does is make excuses for losing and failure. Just because Bleacher Report dares to offend the kool-aid drinkers around here, all of a sudden they aren't a reputable source for in-depth recruiting coverage? More like they are telling the truth that certain people around here don't want to hear.
