The humans wouldn't have had to jump us over Texas. Most of the computer rankings had Iowa 1 or 2. All Iowa would have had to do is finish 4th or higher in the human polls and they would have jumped Texas in the BCS formula.

To those mentioning Brian Ferentz.....that would be a huge, monumentally stupid mistake. You don't hire someone because their dad was a good coach.

Brian Ferentz as head coach would be even worse than having Keno Davis as Iowa's BB coach.
