LeBron

this was at the end of regulation?

Did heat have a chance to tie it at the end of OT?

EDIT: This is exactly why Lebron should take that 18 footer like he did in game 2.

I agree with the bolded. People need to realize that when Jordan dished off in crunch time in huge games, he was passing the ball to Steve Kerr and John Paxson. 2 guys who were known for their shooting abilities.

Lebron is dishing to Udonis Haslem at the end of an Eastern Conference Finals game.

Wade had a 3 at the end of OT to win the game, but missed. Good pump faked freed him up, but he missed the shot. Rivers said he thought it was good when he shot it.

The possession with LeBron at the end of regulation was a bit messed up. Chalmers brought his man (Dooling, I think) towards LeBron and I think Dooling may have got a piece of the ball on LeBron's pass to Haslem. It was a bad possession.

LeBron did hit a wide open 3 with 30 some seconds left. As Van Gundy mentioned, is that not clutch just because it was not in the last 24 seconds? Bad D by Boston on that one, but they shored up their D on the last regulation possession and OT.

And a couple more.

Celtics played better than I thought they would. I figured they'd get one.

Wade had a good look to win it, just missed. As Kirk Ferentz would say, "that's basketball"

Since this is what you're looking for here you go: you were right.

Just messin around. They have been great games so far in this series, except for Game 1. Glad we get to see at least 2 more.

Seriously though, if I never see another whiny face from lebron or pierce it will be too soon. Maybe that is why I like Durant so much, he doesn't look like a 2 year old that just had his toy stolen away every time he doesn't get a call.

It seems every player has to be melodramatic about every call......that and flopping.

There was a lot of flopping going on at the end of the game, and both Pierce and LeBron fouled out because of it.

agreed, neither one should have been fouled out for those calls. Terribly officiated game last night on both sides.

Anybody catch Rondo's comments when Doris Burke was interviewing him going into halftime? Hilarious.

It is hilarious coming from a Boston Celtic, the biggest group of whiners in the NBA. Did you know that they've never really fouled anyone before? Those damn refs keep screwing them over.

Please show me where one Celtic fan said the refs were screwing them over in this series. Tchawk is not a Celtic fan, FYI. k, thx bye.

Doc Rivers a C's fan?

Disclaimer: I realize that a coach arguing about officiating is part of the gamesmanship of the NBA.

You misinterpreted. I meant that the Celtics players always think the ref made a bad call when it goes against them. This is a pretty common occurance across the NBA but the Celtics are at the top of the list as a team.

Well, I was more talking about this thread but when did Doc say the refs were screwin them over?

I have not seen that and dont think he really said that.

It is a problem in the NBA. I will leave it at that.

Dexter- Did you every bet with Travisam?

Also, he needs to come here and eat the big plate of crow waiting for him.

Dexter thought I was betting against the heat lol...so no...no bet was made. I was obviously wrong about it going 2-2. I would still be willing to take bets on the series.

Great game and series if you love basketball this is where it is at.....

:)

I have watched very little of the series except the 4th qtr of game 2 and OT and the last 5 minutes of regulation yesterday.

I thought the last 5 minutes of regulation in game 4 yesterday was some ugly basketball, some of the ugliest basketball I have seen.

Tons of moving screens, everyone travels and switches their pivot feet, yet for some reason the refs just decided to call Garnett for traveling out of the blue, grabbing and clutching, flopping, and it looked like a convention of brick layers, a masons union meeting.

It was awful, so awful I skipped the OT. I dont care about these whiny prima donnas.

he started a drive with five seconds left and boston ran not one but two secondary defenders at him. the other four heat were just standing around watching lebron play..

You just described almost every NBA team, 4 guys standing around while one guy goes one on one. Some of the worst basketball on the planet.

No team play at all, naismith is rolling in his grave as are all the great dead coaches.

You obviously dont watch a lot of playoff basketball.

Anybody catch Rondo's comments when Doris Burke was interviewing him going into halftime? Hilarious.

They replayed Rondo's answer to her question on Dan Patrick this AM.

Great answer.

Doris Burke question parapharased "How are you guys getting to the hoop so well?"

Rondo "Because the "heat" are whining to the the refs 'all day' during transition (paraphrased - and not getting back on defense)"

Great answer, loved the truth and it speaks volumes about what is wrong with the nba and these prima donnas.
