LeBron

Not exactly. They've never lost a game 5 with the series tied 2-2. Your point still holds though.

What is your prediction for tonight?

Correct. I worded that wrong.

As for tonight, I dont think anybody can really make a prediction until we know for sure if Bosh is playing. Reports are saying he is going to go but Spoelstra said it wasnt definitive yet. Im guessing he will play.

My guess is he plays about 20 minutes. Role players generally play better at home so that should help Miami. It is basketball so it's not impossible that someone outside the Big 3 for Boston just goes nuts and swings the game for them.

What the?

Dont go too far out on that limb Clark. :D

I told you upfront that it was a wussy pick. My point was that the outcome of this game depends on how well Wade plays. I expect LeBron to do what LeBron does which is score around 30 points, have about 10 boards, and about 7 assists. I expect Bosh and the other Heat players to shoot okay but nothing spectacular. I expect Boston to have about 90 points give or take a few.

What I really don't know is what Wade is going to do. I'm also curious to see how the game is officiated. If I had to make a pick one way or the other I'd say Miami wins.

Lebron is just not there yet to be considered in the same category as Bird, Magic, Jordan and Kobe.

Hes a great passer, defender and rebounder but he hasn't put in the work to perfecting his offensive game like the above players all did.

His outside shot is average, and much more importantly, his back to the basket game is almost completely undeveloped.

His offense revolves way to much around facing up rather than backing guys down and forcing the issue or getting deep post position off the ball.

Playoff games are usually won in the half court and a back to the basket game is necessary to be a dominant half court offensive player.

In before someone tells you Lebron can't do it all by himself and that you dont know jack!

LeBron has his flaws and much of what that poster said was 100% accurate. However, LeBron is averaging 30 points a game in this series. He's not the reason the Heat are losing.

Want to make a bet? Your complete ignorance of the game of basketball gives me a pretty strong idea that I should bet against whatever you think. I'll give you 2 to 1 odds. I'll hang up and listen.

Game time decision for Bosh.

Clark is probably right and he will see around 20 minutes. I dont think he will be that effective if he does play.

Celtics win 96-90.

Boom.

You are looking more ridiculous by the day Trav!!!

I know I was off by 2 points on the Celtics score. Not bad, eh?

Series isn't over. Basically every analyst out there is looking ridiculous. All 4 guys last night thought the Heat would win by double digits last night. I'm far from the only one. Spoelstra playing Bosh 14 min is ******* ridiculous.

Every analyst out there didnt proclaim that I was completely ignorant when it came to the game of basketball. Thats why Im not calling them out.

Bosh got his numbers but the Heat were -12 when he was in the game. That is a terrible number when he only played 14 minutes.

There have been lots of guys that average 30 points and lose. Lebron just doesn't inspire those around him. He may some day, but not yet. He is a whiner on the court, not a winner, and I think that really shows in how it rubs off on the rest of his team. Look at a guy like Chalmers, I don't remember him complaining after every call in college, but now he does. The Heat look like a bunch of spoiled basketball players that feel they "deserve" to win, and when things don't go their way they cry and point fingers. The Celtics cry, but then they seem to buckle down and work as a team when it is needed.

Every analyst didn't get to hear your breakdown of refereeing and all of the other things you said that show you do have a lack of knowledge towards the game of basketball. A team winning a couple of games doesn't change that pal. Sorry.

It is hard in this day and age when you commit that much salary to three guys. They have to be heads and tails better than everyone else and they also have to stay healthy. The Heat have a massive drop-off when you get past their top three, as do the Lakers.

This is the same thing that is going to happen to OKC. They did a nice job in the draft, but they are not going to be able to keep that team together when the young guys hit free agency.

One thing that is surprising is that this season has been a good one for the older teams. While we could expect them to tire due to the back to backs, the overall shortened length of the season may have helped these guys not wear down as much.

haha...let the butthurt flow bud.

I have nailed this series since this thread has been rolling.

You giving the Celtics no shot in the series is more telling than anything.

What happens when Spoelstra gets canned and teh Heat still cant win a ring with Lebron?

I think the Heat get mad when things don't go their way and then expect LeBron to do all the work. I don't like LeBron's attitude either, but I can't question his work ethic. He wants it worse than anyone on Miami.

Not just his scoring, but his defensive effort has been nothing short of amazing.
