LeBron

Wow you can't be serious....wait you are a heat fan huh....rondo got hammered that attempt to even pretend he didn't is foolish AT best.

His reaction to the foul was a little more than it needed to be. But yes, it was clearly a foul. And yes, the missed call came at the worst possible time.

I have a question after reading this thread. Do the celtics just attract whiny little ******* as fans, or do their fans become whiny little ******* after starting to root for Boston?

I think a lot of just sports fans, not even celtics fans, are "whining" about how bad the reffing is in the nba.

If it is the toughest officiating job then the nba with all their profits should put another official on the floor.

Ok, so which is it?

I've been a Celtics fan since I was about 8 so I would guess the latter.

How have i been whining? Ive been commenting how the refs have been atrocious and also stated that the Celtics have themselves to blame for being down 2-0.

I'm guessing their fans just take after the team. There is a lot of complaining to the refs that goes on in the NBA, but I'm not sure there is a team that does more of it than the Celtics. They are an old school team combined with a young punk in Rondo.

I've watched a few Celtics game this year where Rondo just flat out chucked the ball at the referee. He only received a technical once for it I believe. Paul Pierce is constantly acting like he's hurt and whining about it. KG runs his mouth for 48 straight minutes every single game, whether he's having a good game or not.

Ray Allen has class and so does Doc Rivers. I'm actually a little surprised Rivers puts up with some of their crap, but when you inherit a team loaded with veterans I suppose your authority isn't what it would be in some other cases.

How did Doc inherit this team loaded with veterans when he was been the coach in Boston since 2004?

It isnt like he stepped into coach right at the start of the 2007-2008 season when the Big 3 first came together.

The rest of your post is just whining about people whining.

lol what a tool of a post...

face the FACT mr. heat fan the C's have been playing 5 on 8 this entire series.

You mean like I'm whining about your whining, and the Celtics players whining, and the Celtics fans whining? Is that the whining your talking about?

He inherited 3 veteran players. You can slice it however you want. They ***** and moan more than any other team in the league as far as I'm concerned. My point was that their fans seem to be pretty similar and I think you've helped prove that point quite well.

The officiating in basketball is very difficult. It was terrible in the NCAA tournament as well. It's never going to be perfect, you've just got to live with it.

If you cant see how bad the refs have been this series, then thats not my fault. There are non-Celtic fans in this thread and the Playoff thread that are commenting on how poor the officiating has been. Thats not whining, thats calling a spade a spade.

If I had blamed the refs for the Celtics being down 2-0 in this series that is considered whining. I have not done that. I have said they have nobody to blame but themselves for blowing that big lead in Game 2. Dont confuze me with Tchawk who is the one saying the Celtics are playing 5 on 8.

While the officiating has been awful this series so far, Im expecting it to even out considerably tonight and Sunday when they play in Boston. I also know that "home cookin" is a part of the NBA game come playoff time and its up to the Celtics to play through that when they are on the road.

Pointing out what Im seeing as rotten officiating is not whining.

Well you can become an honorary Celtics fan for this series then because you have the same "blame it all on the refs" attitude. The Pacers matched up much better against the Heat than the Celtics do.

Bottom line is the Celtics guards can't match up with D Wade and Lebron, and the Celtics big men don't have what it takes to exploit the Heat down low. Anthony and Haslem are handling KG for the most part. The Heat are the better team. They'll likely prove it again tonight.

Yes, but there are probably more Heat haters than Celtic fans anyways so that's not necessarily unbiased.

The Celtics are just old. They're out of their prime and their chance at winning another title has faded. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't really matter who comes out of the East victorious because right now the West is playing basketball at a completely different level.

Assuming it's the Heat out of the east. I don't see how they match up against Parker or Westbrook, especially Parker. The Spurs would give them all sorts of trouble.

Could you please find where I was blaming the refs for the Celtics being in an 0-2 hole? k, thx

Agreed. The Celtics are a team full of old guys who can't get to the rim and ***** at the ref all the time and one young guy who has spent the vast majority of 4th quarters in his career trying not to go to the free throw line. The Heat have two guys who are in the prime of their careers and great at attacking. Hmmm, I wonder which team is going to shoot more free throws.

Bob Ryan didn't have a problem with the officiation, I'll take his opinion over that of some whiny Celtic fans.
