LeBron

There have been lots of guys that average 30 points and lose. Lebron just doesn't inspire those around him. He may some day, but not yet. He is a whiner on the court, not a winner, and I think that really shows in how it rubs off on the rest of his team. Look at a guy like Chalmers, I don't remember him complaining after every call in college, but now he does. The Heat look like a bunch of spoiled basketball players that feel they "deserve" to win, and when things don't go their way they cry and point fingers. The Celtics cry, but then they seem to buckle down and work as a team when it is needed.

Do you watch many NBA games? Every team and just about every player complains about calls. The Detroit Pistons had Rasheed Wallace for crying out loud. The Spurs invented the flop and constantly beg for calls. The Celtics complain as much or more than anyone. All these teams have been at least 2 finals and won one in the last decade.

When LeBron no-shows it's fair to call him out. When he plays poorly it's fair to call him out. When he scores 30 with 13 rebounds it's not fair to call him out.

It's absolutely absurd to blame LeBron for the Heat losing this series. He's been the only thing the Heat can count on each game.

haha...let the butthurt flow bud.

I have nailed this series since this thread has been rolling.

You giving the Celtics no shot in the series is more telling than anything.

What happens when Spoelstra gets canned and teh Heat still cant win a ring with Lebron?

No butthurt here. I have given the Celtics full credit. I haven't cried like a little ***** about reffing. They have outhustled the Heat and been a better team. That's the difference. Nice "technical" on Chalmers down the stretch last night btw huh lol. I'm sure if the Heat rattle off 2 straight you will be crying again about the ref. You base your opinions off of emotion like a 14 year old girl. I base mine off of what is happening on the court.

You don't whine about reffing and then you whine about reffing?

I fully understand that all players whine nowadays. The difference I see is the maturity level on how it is handled. There really is a lack of that on the Heat and I think because of that the whining consumes them more than say a Boston or a SA.

It is kinda like every day jobs. Some people like to party, but they are adult enough to do it at the right time and not let it affect their work. Less mature people like to party and don't understand teh boundaries and it has an effect. Rondo basically pointed out that very thing, and then last night JVG was illustrating it on occasion as well.

I love this tweet by Coach Francis I saw today.

Stephen "gums" smith is too funny. He's drawing from his vast playoff coaching experience as he breaks it down

As did I bud. My post back when I said I thought Boston would tie it up at 2 going back to Miami said something to the effect because Ray Allen was finding his stroke and the officiating will not be quite so one sided.

Arent those 2 things that happened in Games 3 & 4?

And there hasnt been as much talk about the officiating since Game 2 because it has been a much more evenly called series. With the exception of Game 4, when both Pierce and Lebron fouled out, the refs havent gotten much ink.

Not based off of emotion.

2012 NBA playoffs -- Boston Celtics make naysayers eat their words - ESPN Boston

This quote in there from Lebron is the reason he gets so much guff from people- "I think we played good enough to give ourselves a chance to win, and that's all you can ask for."

Really? Thats all you can ask for in a huge Game 5 at home when you had a team on the ropes in the first half is a "chance to win"?

Also, Lebron had 30 but 14 of those were in like the first 9 or 10 minutes of the game.

These are the posts I'm talking about that just show your ignorance. Who gives a **** when the points were scored?? lol Did he score down the stretch in the 4th quarter? Yes. Do those 14 points in the first 9 or 10 min of the game count less??? You are a sheep dude. Seriously.

LOL. He hit a 3 with 8:10 left and then didnt score again until the Celtics conceded him a layup with 9 seconds left.

Wasnt it your point that he scored points down the stretch in the fourth quarter?

Not at all. My point is that points at the beginning of the game count as much as the end of the game. Even if he only has 5 in the 4th quarter (which is still good) he does other things defensively and offensively that contribute to the team scoring. My point is that anyone who thinks that Lebron hasn't been incredibly effective in this series and in his career in the playoffs is an idiot.

They count the same, but are not teh same importance. Paul Pierce hit 2 threes in the game, do you think they were both the same?

When you do something is very important to your team and your level of greatness. He is a heckuva player, but that is what keeps him out of the discussion for greatest.

But you said he scored points down the stretch.

Did he score down the stretch in the 4th quarter? Yes.

AND? How many steals in the 4th? How many blocks in the 4th? How many Reb. in the 4th?

I think Hannah Montana is on bro.

You said he scored down the stretch. That is false. 2 of his points were gifted to him on a lay in because the Celtics did not want to foul him with 9 seconds left in the game. KG made an uninspired wave at the ball and pretty much just got his body out of the way.

And if you consider a 3 pointer with 8:10 remaining in the 4th "down the stretch" then we can count that.

Youre going in circles Trav and I know I have you when you have to start with Hannah Montana jokes.
