The timing would suggest that he is waiting to see where Jordan Diamond goes.

I would guess he doesn't give 2 craps as to where Diamond goes. If he wanted to be at Michigan he would sure as hell be there before Diamond. Other than that, he doesn't care.

Will someone refresh me, on what his major of study would be? And how that would play into his choosing of a school of study? Let's hope IOWA wins out for his college major decision. On a side note, Iowa City is currently tropical today, as compared to SNOWY Colorado ... That has to help in his choice.....lol
Alex, come to the crib of the Future NFL linemen. Four years can turn you into a MILLIONARE.....

so maybe he was waiting on some rumors of a different nature to play out. maybe he wanted to actually see who his position coach would be, or maybe...he wants to know who the OC was/is going to be.

It's not like this guy is a 5*, only then should he be able to pull this sh##. What has the world come to when 3* think any college is gonna just hold a ship for them. On a serious side though, the least of our worries is OL we will be able to sign someone next year as good if not better, so we might as well bank the ship, or find another RB.

Who says this is a prima dona move? If the kid still isn't sure, he shouldn't make a decision that he may wind up regretting.

The stupidity of people when it comes to recruiting is what's truly ridiculous about all this.

You obviously did not understand the sarcasm there. Orignial, though to jump to a conclusion and call comeone stupid also mature. Man, you need to relax a little. The actual point here was OL is not really an area of need so if he goes MU we are still fine. From now on take a second and think before writing your thoughts.

Looks like Diamond to Auburn so that makes 4 OL to AU this Class. One would think his choices would now be Michigan and the Hawks. Wait and see?

Yeah, it was outrageous to think you were suggesting he's being a prima dona. Given that logical interpretation, it's not out of line to call it stupid. People need to let the kid make the decision that's best for him, and do it on HIS schedule, not ours. People are only ****** off because he happens to be a very good football player who we want on our team. THAT is what's stupid about all this.

It say right in the post. ON THE SERIOUS SIDE THOUGH. I actually agree with you this kid can be on his own time. So we just need to move on and recruit a position of more need in my opinion. I don't think the hawks need to sit around and wait. He maybe a great OL, but IA has no problem getting OL especially 3* or better. No one had a real problem with moving on from Shaw when he wasn't ready to commit so what is the problem.

the word out there is it is a matter of his father wanting him to go to Michigan, and the kid wants to go to Iowa, and his parents won't sign the LOI, unless its to Michigan, so rather than bag on the kid, look for a real source, lets face it the Parents can and do have the final say on where a kid goes. this was a big factor in the O-L recruit from Minnesota being turned into a circus

If the rumor out there is accurate, cut the kid a break. He wants to attend Iowa but LOIs require the signature of a parent...

So is this rumor that his parents don't want him to go to Iowa and won't sign his LOI?

If so that is pretty freaking low and his parents should be ashamed of themselves.

I agree, what kind of parents would stifle their children in that way? If true they should check themselves.

Maybe he can do what that one kid that went committed to Alabama on National TV with his mom at his side giving a nasty look because he didn't go to LSU and then made a fool of herself and him by talking and being ****** that he didn't go to where she wanted him to end up at.

The sad part is these are probably the same parents that are yelling and causing trouble at little league games as well when their kids were younger.

They won't have to pay a dime for their kid to get a college education and yet they act this way is truly amazing.
