When I think of last year's NW game and this yr's Cyclone game I am tempted to think Kirk may have finally figured out that emotion is part of the game of football. Having said that we looked pretty flat against NDSU/Rutgers. It's hard to figure out what is going on right now.

I can't believe you are arguing with me about this. It's been well documented that Fitz puts emphasis on beating Iowa.

Well he's not doing a very good job of it anymore. Do you have any of this documentation that he emphasizes this game over others?

Best to let it go ssc. It's pretty well known Fitz puts emphasis on this game. I personally don't need to see 5 pages of back and forth. You're not going to change his mind and he lives to argue on a completely subjective issue that can't be absolutely proven either way. There's another thread that proves this.
 
I'm not sure what to expect other than Fitz using this game to get his team up to start their run to a bowl game. I'll go Iowa 21-17.
 
Looking into my crystal ball...

Iowa's running game gets going, akin to last year. Our passing game is bewildering, and disappointing. The game feels a lot closer than 2015, due our defense getting spread and gashed. On the plus side, King finally gets both an interception, and returns a punt to the house. His 4Q red zone interception ices it.
