jNW Game predictions

Outside of Ohio State, Purdue, Illinois and Penn State the Big Ten teams are hard to figure out with a high degree of certainty. OSU is really good. IL and Purdue are really bad. PSU is very fair to midland. The question is which of Iowa and NW is fair and which is midland.

My instinct tells me that Iowa comes out even MORE conservative with MVB out. The offense has looked lost the last two weeks, and that was with CJ's favorite WR out there.

It would be nice to repeat what we did last year with Wadley, and I still think it's quite insane he had more carries in that game last year, than he does in four this year (and I know all the RBs were injured last year at that time).

Wadley is our only proven weapon on offense, and just seems like it'd make sense to use him more.

Fitz has to be fuming after getting blown out hte last two years, and i can't see it happening a 3rd.

NW has the best RB we'll have seen all year, and if we can't stop him, we lose.

20-10 NW

I think Daniels has proven he's a weapon. Not his fault he's had 2 monster carries nullified by penalties. I'm still not sure how we respond offensively with Vandeburg out. Honestly with our historically inconsistencies in the passing game and how little we've got from our WR's (outside of Vandeburg) this year it lead to our passing game being, dare I say, unpredictable. Could also lead to it being nonexistent. I'm interested to see how it looks.

Not getting my hope high, Northwestern is always a game where I skip myheartbeats one too many times. I'm skipping that .

Been awhile...I firmly believe the Vandenburg injury is the impetus to a great year. This team needed something to bring them together and to get that old chip on the shoulder attitude. We are now getting wrote off, by EVERYONE...so I look at this as a coming out party. Iowa 34 NWU 17.

21 - 7 Iowa. Two to Kittle, one to Daniels. 7 is NW D pick six due to a bad timing route ran by Vandenberg's understudy.

I hope your right, but the NDSU loss should have been enough to get that chip on their shoulders. I hate thinking this, but despite it being our best WR, I've never really thought an Iowa team's season would be railroaded with an injury to a wideout. I think they bounce back.

I think we get outcoached by Fitz, again. I think he'll have his team ready. We have a few injuries that'll give us fitz. We have the horses to step up, but will we?

21-21 late in the fourth. Clock mismanagement by KF and jNW kicks a field goal.

jNW- 24
Iowa - 21

Geez! I think i just puked.

Haha Go Hawks! But I think the picture you painted here with your brush strokes sounds very possible. Dam (purposefully misspelled) you! Lol
