Isaiah Moss Commits to Iowa

I really don't have a problem with Fred or the Cyclones. I have a problem with cyfans just like they say they have a problem with "hok" fans. While Fred should be commended for his handling of transfers it compares to me of driving a car recklessly. You can get away with it for a long time but it doesn't last forever. It's probably worth it to most Cyclone fans to go 6-7 years of being good for one average year and probably not different than what we expect at Iowa. I just don't think it will go forever without a problem.

Locker room issues can happen to any team at any point in time. Wasn't it rumored that iowa themselves were having some locker room issues during their collapse last year?? Not sure if any truth ever came of that.

One of the reasons his success in the transfer market won't continue is that more schools are getting involved in the process. I don't see a lot of success for Iowa state in the future. The high school coaches have seen how Fred will recruit over their players, and its going to be a lot tougher getting the transfers he has had in the past. He has been kind of lucky in the past also.

"Recruited over" is simply a sign of a good program. Kids want to play for a winner. Kentucky duke and kansas have recruited over players pretty much every single year. The KU kid just transferred because of all the influx of talent. I don't think his departure is going to hurt bill self too much on the recruiting trail.

Iowa state isn't a Kentucky, Duke, or Kansas of the basketball world.

Of course it can happen anywhere. That's why I posted Cyclone fans would trade 6-7 years of good for 1 average year. I also said the same thing for Iowa. That's just my opinion and I wasn't wearing black and gold or ketchup and mustard glasses when I posted that. apparently you didn't read my entire post.

Big news, this is a next level type of athlete from what Iowa has been getting in years past.

Which would have basically been two straight final fours since they were going there for sure until Craft hit the buzzer beater two years ago.

Actually that would be 3 mythical final fours with 1 NCAA title now. Remember the loss to Kentucky 3 years ago which cemented that ISU was the second best team in the tourney had it not been for unfortunate seeding.

Mythical Titles
Fred 1, Fran 0

Mythical Final Fours
Fred 3, Fran 0

Last year's mythical title banner will be hung during the half time of the Texas Tech game. Kane will be back to fake an injury after falling off the ladder used to hang the banner.

The NCAA had to step in and change the rules of college BB cause po old ISU got screwed so badly in that game. Obviously ISU was title bound until that screw job, and so it officially began, the Big12 conspriacy to keep ISU down.

Haha what's worse is this is Iowa's version: "man had we not run into a big 12 team and got dunked on all night by baylor and lost by 30 we would have won the NIT!!"

That's a pretty weak come back. Come up with something different, bro. No Iowa fan on the planet earth has ever had that thought.

Why are Iowa fans always so sour? At least Iowa fans don't have to worry about conspiracies. They keep themselves down without any help.

What? Please tell me that you used your 5 minutes of interweb time on this post while in the institution, because if someone like you is out in public walking around and driving cars and such then God help us all.

Ill never forget going into election Sunday and an Iowa fan and friend asked me who ISU has beaten to deserve being in the NCAA tourney. I started off listing teams and end with we beat Baylor twice. He replies "Baylor is not good at all that shouldn't count as a quality win". After the 20th Baylor dunk against Iowa his response is "ISU would have no chance against Baylor if they played them right now. Baylor could have won the national championship if they made the tourney". Iowa logic is outstanding.

Don't blame the rest of us....he's YOUR friend, after all.

Fran reopening ties to Chicago is very impressive
Iowa coaches should be spending so much time recruiting Chicagoland that it makes sense to just rent an apartment for them to use rather than pay for hotel stays. If this program is ever going to be where we want it to be, we should be getting a Chicagoland kid every year.
