They are a very young team, only 1 SR. on the squad. She will be hard to replace though.
That being said, if we don't win tonight, I am still proud of these ladies, they don't get the support they deserve.

Iowa women's team is keepin it real, but Lville keepin it realer. Lville banked in a 3 pt'r from about 23' as the shot clock expired. Shooting lights out and destroying Iowa. Up 17 at half.![]()

That happens when you can't put the orangey round thing in the orangey round thing.Iowa women getting run out of their own gym. Like a speed bag versus a punching bag......or a JV team versus a Varsity team.
Men's team rubbed off on them.
Same kinda luck.
Other team shooting lights out.
Iowa can't make a basket.
They need a beefy girl or two.
Your comprehension skill needs work. That's not true.
The women's team is losing to a team that is better than them, you can't say that for the men...

Seriously ladies.......embarrassing....down 36 points now....come on this is your home court ladies.....they are better but make it somewhat respectable.
The Big 10 isn't nearly as good in women's basketball as it is in men's basketball. And the separation between the best teams in the country and everyone else is a lot bigger.
Tough to beat the "boys" from Louisville. At least our ladies are better lookin...
It's pretty clear what Iowa needs.
The only problem, Bluder only recruits a certain type of player and is why they always get lit up by the upper tier teams.
But that $500K salary is well deserved.
she's done a nice job - don't undersell it. 7 straight trips to the ncaa tourney? but then, that's what got davis the door.
do you see the type of athletes that *for an example* stringer gets at rutgers? you think those players would come to iowa city to play for bluder? how about the more successful coach in ames? some times, it is what it is.

Bluder's definitely done a good job, IMO. She's not Stringer, and she'll always be compared to that standard by most fans who pay attention to the women's team. But Stringer, IMO, is one of the top 3 coaches in the history of the game (with Summitt and Geno). You can't replace someone like that, just like UCLA hasn't found another Wooden, Indiana another Knight, etc. If you could realistically replace coaches like that, then those coaches wouldn't be as special as they were/are.
