because if he did - and had success - the Iowa coaching staff would have had some splainin to do!!! the way it went was simpler.

My BIL lives in Ft Lauderdale area. He saw Ruddock in HS. And really liked how the kid played. Shoot, he came from one of the best HS programs in the nation. But we started a kid from Keokuk. Sorry for the sour grapes after an outstanding 2nd quarter.

I didnt think we looked dead at all. We looked like a team breaking in a new qb. But no doubt the kirksey play helped flip momentum...
